Page Splitting with AutoCapture

Okay, the importance of page splitting when running batch jobs has now become very clear to me! The ability to just drop 100 pages into a document feeder and have an automated process to eat them up is really impressive!

So, here's a sneak peek at a new AutoCapture feature that allows you to split large PDFs and TIFs into smaller n-page documents.

Screen shots below:

Page splitting option when add/editing a job.
We're expecting to release this feature with SentryFile 5.11. Please note that we will be skipping version number 5.10 because it may cause confusion with 5.01.
Lemme know your thoughts! :)
(PS: Thanks to Jim Block for bringing this idea to us. Also, thanks to all the other support forum users who gave us their feedback!)

Great new feature, thanks.
If I could add something to my wishlist it would be a feature that would auto detect how many pages each invoice contains, ie. using form recognition. It's not always possible to pre-determine the number of pages per document. I'm sure your're already aware of this and probably have a solution in the works!! Keep it up.....

Chris - can this be implemented for other methods to Add Documents as well or will this strictly be an AutoCapture feature? This would be incredibly useful to us if it was an Inbox option as well.

Thanks!

have you considered using job separation sheets (barcodes)when scanning ?
We develop scanning software and to date relying solely on OCR in order to separate documents is a risky business. Ones solution might not apply to another situation and so on. Pretty sure that soon SF will come up with something.
NOTE: so far the best approach that we have seen is NOT Patch code. As crazy as it may sound we have seen some logos that were mistakenly recognized as patchcode. Our best bullet proof recipy so far was using using a FIXED value in a barcode like DocSep, now try to figure a freight company that would use such a value to classify a document !!!
